Demon, Wise & Partners

Not the type of local I usually attend, but probably the type I should start attending more often! Very cozy decoration and ambience, the soft light and basement location create a feeling of privacy and comfort that makes the cocktails (very well executed and delivered) more enjoyable. All in all it's a really pleasant place to spend the evening. Don't forget trying the signature cocktails, "Demon" and "Wise".

The cutest little cocktail bar, downstairs, near Bank. We didn't have a reservation so we're given a seat at the bar. This was great because the bartender was answering our questions about the cocktails - which were delicious. Well lit, not too noisy or crowded. It was really lovely.

Booked a table for 4 and a half hours, and after an hour and a half they asked us to squeeze in to half the table so they can receive other guests. The excuse was that they have a minimum spending of £1,000 and we haven't spent that, which I said it was never mentioned over the phone when I've done the booking and they said they've always had this policy in place, so they assumed we knew. Then when we asked for more beers they said they are not really a beer place and asked us to buy cocktails instead, saying that they don't have any beer left. Honestly, I don't remember ever being to a place with a worse service. I am very disappointed, I would definitely not recommend this place.

Good place to bring a date or small group of work colleagues. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quality alcohol, a varied menu and custom cocktails. Would recommend trying the (regularly changing) premium specials The Demon or The Wise. Ask for a ferrari later in the evening.

Cosy area downstairs, but once it’s getting busy the appeal is lost a bit. Cocktails were okay, but nothing outstanding (some of them were quite small). Same with their special - Demon (nice touch on the exclusivity concept).

Nice atmosphere. Good signatures, and lovey service. Couldn’t make me a brandy Alexander but came up with a credible substitute. Feel like its changed decor a bit since I last visited and a bit disappointed with the fake plants which cheapen the experience a bit. But overall still a great place.

I love Demon, the service is always good and prompt even when its pretty busy. Good selection of drinks and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I will continue to keep coming when I'm in the area!
