Slug & Lettuce Canary Wharf

Went in the busy evening about 6pm. Found a seat and was served immediately by the wonderful Julita. I told her I was busy, and within a few minutes my veggie burger & chips and my drink was on the table.
Another visit today at lunchtime and the service was excellent by the whole team. I had veggie lasagne which was kept hot for the whole meal by the clay dish. It's pub food, not gourmet, but both my meals were fine and the staff great.

Bad service! We came for Sunday lunch/brunch with a friend and was astonished how bad the service was! The waiter was a young boy and did not know his way around the menu (don't you train your staff?) ; also stumbled over my chair couple of times; at the end we did not receive our check and after waiting for good 20minutes just came to pay at the bar.
The food was okay; nothing exceptional though but it got us filled up.
Overall average food, bad service and not a great experience. We probably won't come there again.

This place has quite a wide selection of drinks and plenty of bar staff to keep you well attended to. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The drinks are a little on the high side of price expectations, but then again you get decent service, and it is in a high rent area so I guess it is reasonable.

The main bar and the table surfaces are kept clean, however when we went on Saturday the gents toilets were really in a bad state with water over the floor etc. Come on folks, I am sure that you can do better than this.

Staff were very friendly, cocktails were made quickly and in style.

Now they reopen and I feel proud of them! I hope host station will be sorted out because of confusion about how to do! But in. General all good!

Whilst visiting Canary Wharf for a day out and shopping, had lunch at the S&L and was surprised to see that in September this pub was continuing 50% off 'eat out to help out' deal. Good place to go. Staff are very friendly and the food is of good quality. So if you are going to visit, then September is perfect. Having said that, this is a good place to visit any time of year.

Currently half price on food and 2 for 1 cocktails you can't go wrong. Did get the order wrong a few times but they sorted it out straight away. They have seating inside and outside which is nice on a warm day.

Went into Slug and lettuce and it was fab!! Our waitress Shannon was very accommodating and other staff seemed very friendly! Very good range of 2-4-1 cocktails and very delicious. Food was good too! Would highly recommend!
