Stopped on cycle from WGC. Lovely bacon sandwich and coffee. Sat in window and able to watch the bike. Lovely service.

A cut above your average greasy spoon but with all the traditional classics - bacon & egg sarnies, beans on toast, etc. The coffee is from a proper espresso machine and the kids menu is deep enough to keep most children entertained. The staff were busy but went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Vegetarian options were impressive even for those who normally eat meat.

You know what, it’s not bad for the reputation it’s got. The service might not be phenomenal but the food will always be hot and tasty. You can’t go wrong.
Excellent value for money.

So here it is.. I'm actually a food critic who lives up north, and I came to ware to visit family, so we decided to go out for breakfast/lunch.. so where do I begin, firstly the breakfast orders came wrong with items missing, so we had to wait for them to be replaced and still forgot the hash browns on one of them... my neice had to wait 10/15 minutes after our food was delivered for her pancakes to arrive at to which point we had nearly finished... Now we come to my order, i decided to start with the kalamari which was absolutely awful, burnt and as tough as rubber, just totally unedible and really bad, then I had the double burger with chips which again was so over cooked it was unreal.. chips felt like cardboard.. but I was hungry so managed to just about get the burger down me... all I can say is never ever again...

Flys in food, sent back to have the same plate put back in front of me, didn't realise until I'd taken a mouthful and found more flys. Then they wanted to charge me.

Clean and friendly! Food was fresh hot and delicious. Really reasonably priced for the quality of food and drink we had. Huge variety. Its cash only which is the only negative for me as I don't always carry cash. Highly recommend

I visited with my two granddaughters who love the hot chocolate with marshmallows. We were warmly greeted and served by Helen who showed exceptional customer service skills. The food was excellent and we will return. Thank you. Tim (Puckeridge).

Waited over 10 mins to even get served. Then when order was taken waited 20 mins for refreshments to arrive. Order two plates of chips and that cost £2:40. Each well wasn't any more than a handful of chips. Do not recommend this place.
