New Ground Cafe - Newhall

Went here on a Sunday. Was very busy but the staff made sure we got a decent table when one was available.

Coffee was great but the food is just amazing! Had a really good breakfast whilst the other half had the pancakes. Definitely will be coming back.

We are new to the area and this was a spontaneous visit. We arrived and received a warm welcome and we’re seated without having a booking. Although the table was only for the hour, the drinks arrived quick and all the ladies who were serving seemed very pleasant and genuinely interested in providing a great service. The food itself took a while but when it did arrive it did not disappoint. It was one of the best Vegetarian Breakfasts ever and I would definitely recommend this cafe if your out for a nice meal that won’t break the bank.

Wonderful breakfast with friends today. Super attentive server (Karen from Liverpool), great menu options and wide choices, lovely atmosphere and well spaced tables. Light, bright friendly and huge value for money. Highly recommended.

Always a good experience. Friendly, capable staff, the wonderful Ollie took our order today. Last time we came, Ollie made sure our table was positioned so that we were dry after the rain. We love it here, good food, great staff and good coffee.

One of the best places to eat in Harlow. Lovely coffee, fresh rustic home-style cooked food. Premium price but definitely worth it. Staff are friendly, could be a little quicker but nothing worth complaining about.

An amazing hub for the community. The opening of New Ground Cafe has connected all of our communities, my area of Mulberry Green with Churchgate Street, Newhall, Church Langley and other parts of Harlow.

Myself, friends and family now walk through all of these areas many times a week... always stopping at New Ground along the way. It is a place where there are always friendly, familiar faces, good food of the highest standard and great coffee. It reminds me a bit of the show 'Cheers' where everybody knows your name (showing my age now) 😂

Yes, we sometimes wait a little while for food or coffee (no more than we do when we queue in Costa or similar) because everything is made fresh and served using the only fair system of ‘first come, first served’…. and is always worth the wait. Their staff are nothing but lovely and we go back time and again, on the understanding that sometimes our order is ready immediately and other times not.

So, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for taking the risk to open such a huge venture, using your own funds, time and energy to create such a vibrant, edgy space that is now the heart of our community. Very grateful!
