Caffè Nero

My favourite coffee shop in Colchester! Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and good coffee. Might get really busy on Saturdays.

I would say for coffee, nero is a lot better than starbuck which is just meters away. we had a machiato and hot chocolate. both were nice and smooth. The atmosphere is relaxed yet you can easily work and be productive, depending on where you sit (sofas or chair and table).

i am a lover of tiffin with my coffee, sadly, they dont serve that here.
Also, the store might need renovation as the wallpaper is starting to peel away from the wall...

Best tasting coffee of all the chain coffee houses, opens earlier than most others, food is of the usual standard and adequate when needs must.

Drinks were alright, but only trainee baristas were working, so didn’t know how their advertised student discount works.

I have ordered a magic bag twice from here and have been cancelled twice, which I understand to a certain extent because there might not always have food to spare. However, they only decided to cancel the bag after I had asked for it in the store. They should have cancelled it beforehand, and after I left, I could hear them chuckling about it. Extremely bad customer service

Good coffee shop, stopped by on my way to work.

Would have given it 5stars, but on last visit we weren't given our stamps for coffee and didn't get digital receipt.

I enjoyed myself, the coffee and pastry wasn't very expensive, there's relaxing music in the background and also a lovely atmosphere created by the staff
