Friendly staff and good prices for decent cafe food.

We've been coming here for years and it's always been really nice, fair priced and the staff have always been really friendly and kind but I think today will be our last visit. It's now overpriced for what you're getting, quality isn't great and the staff were very cold and rude. We had to wait 10 minutes for my son's food after ours had already been served and when we saw it left on the side and not served, my mum went and got it herself in which the staff didn't exactly handle in the best way it's a shame but it is what it is.

The quality of basic ingredients is terrible I wouldn’t even know where to get such poor quality bread, really bad smell coming the toilet area, jacket potato was ok and a nice coffee but think I would go elsewhere in future for better and healthier choice’s

Disgusting food. Ordered 2 full breakfasts chips hardly cooked, bacon nasty and full of fat. Top it all just eats guy comes in and the old fella has a full blown argument with him right in front of us while I was literally chewing my bacon. After about 5mins I said please can they not argue in front of us we are trying to eat and it's not professional. Old boy started on at me! Just eats guy did apologise to us. But these old boys are just plain nasty! Shouting at me he does what he wants in his shop if I don't like it to go bloody cheek! Horrible experience nasty food inflated prices, they need to be shut down not because its nasty atmosphere (they do need to do some serious customer service lessons though) but the quality of food and how it was cooked is awful. Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give minus stars I would!

Really not that great, went for lunch in passing and waited just short of an hour for a full English and an omelette. It wasn't even that busy! Turns out that they had lost the ticket and screwed up two other tables as well, they were rude to one of the other customers when they realised the mistakes. Won't be going back again. Food was pretty basic as well.

Shocking food 🤢 Spanish omelet was terrible cold in the middle and came out wrong 3 times jacket potato 🥔 looked like it had been chucked in a microwave for 30 seconds and sprinkled tuna on top. I ended up on the toilet for 4 hours 💩🤮 and to be honest I'd rather eat from my toilet than ever eat in this place again.

I won't eat here, poor management, the food used to be OK but now there's a bad vibe in the place, the young people who work here are very polite but get treated inappropriately buy the senior staff. Terrible! Go to the market cafe. Far better atmosphere.

Whist in there earlier today roughly around 1.30 / 2ish. One of the older male members of staff was shouting at one of the young girls that worked in there.
I understand they need to be told but in front of all the other staff and customers is not the way to act.
The young girl was in tears.
Won't be going in there again.
