They don't have a milk thermometer and you can't make decent coffee without one. Ask any properly trained barrista.

Actually haven’t been here yet, just doing some research on coffee options. As someone who trains baristas, Alexander May has absolutely no idea what he’s on about. I just couldn’t go idly by watching someone give 1 star to a place saying what he’s just said 😅😅😅 no barista with any skill needs a thermometer, they can tell within 2-3 degrees how hot it is by their hand/how long they’re texturing the milk & the size of the jug. This isn’t Starbucks Alexander… I assume it wasn’t hot enough for you because you want a coffee at 9000 degrees Celsius? Coffee is meant to be 60-65 degrees. Stick to drinking tea pal!

We stopped at Malabar for a small lunch. We had the ham and cheese croissants, and a latte & iced latte. The ham and cheese croissants were lovely and the coffees were quite nice too. The regular latte was a little on the small side though. It is small and cosy inside.

I notice they sell their own coffee and have a great selection of quality teas as well.

We enjoyed our visit ☺️

Cafe in the 'heart' of Sevenoaks, lots of seating space outside as well...decent coffee, pastries and sandwiches on offer...freshly made, served by friendly staff.

Lovely coffee house. The Brie and cranberry croissant is a must.

Potentially a pleasant place for coffee BUT why di staff place napkin UNDER the cheese muffin? The soft cheese soaks into the napkin which cannot be used.
Worst is the appalling technique of staff, fingerings the rim of the cup when moving the coffee cup to the counter. Inevitably the clients lips will pick up anything from the waitress' fingers - unhygienic- improve technique.
