The place has a great character. Really tasty food from the local suppliers. Amazing, chatty and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place for quality and value for money.

Cosy charming woody rooms in old house. Appealing bruch & lunch choice. Welcoming staff.

Really top notch food and coffee. We had the house breakfast, bagel and steak and eggs special and all were fantastic, the coffee is always great, as are the fresh juices. Finally, the servers are always friendly. I love coming here for meals as it never disappoints.

Lovely staff, good coffee, unique cakes. It's an old house so feels a bit cramped when busy due to low ceilings. Seating upstairs and more space on the second floor which can be hired.

Lovely place to have a coffee. Cosy and friendly. Great that there is a workplace in the attic as well.

Came here with my family to get a hot chocolate which was actually really lovely. However, it was a very uncomfortable experience just to get a drink: the man serving us made us feel like a burden as customers as he even swore in our faces. Loud, out of place music didn't help the experience either.

I ordered an oat milk latte, and while it was well made I think the choice of coffee beans for a milk drink wasn't what I was expecting. It was a more fruity coffee that I would enjoy as perhaps a filtered black.

One thing to note here is Ottos do not provide disposable takeaway cups, you can bring your own reusable or take a charity shop mug and return it later. I get the sentiment, but for people who want to pop in for a quick takeaway, it could be a bit inconvenient.

This used to be a really lovely place for a coffee and cake, but recent visits have been rather disappointing in terms of items available and the layout of seating, which has apparently been altered to accommodate people working there during the day rather than at home, but is not really conducive to a friendly conversation at the weekend! Hopefully it will return to the previous high standards when covid is no longer a consideration.
