Costa Coffee

I'm a regular at this branch for the past 4 years. When I initially started going there in 2012 there was a problem with hygiene levels, staff were too laxed and the quality of service went downhill. When new management kicked in in October 2015 there has been a vast improvement: the place has been refurbished and the new staff are super duper including their manager. Hygiene levels have vastly improved and you can now order delicious croissants and cakes w/o any hesitation. Service is extremely good; there are no long queues and the baristas are fast as lightning.

Furthermore, the staff are NEVER rude when it comes to handing them £50 notes! - Once a Manager decided to give me coffee and come back later when I had change! - Bless his cotton socks!

Staff nice and coffee good like always.

Atmosphere not so good. Like all establishments that have a male Arab population. All seats are either facing at the door or windows so they can perv on women.

Be ready for it if you walk in and your a women.

I've been there today, the service was fine but the toilet is DISGUSTING! I know if it's busy, there is no time for cleaning but come on! That was not a today dirt on the bins....lf u are a woman, don't go there for toilet, u can catch any type of disease. I ask the staff for soap, they top up but didn't clean, rather had a chat on customer area instead.

relaxing and typically quiet. A good place to get lost in music or work whilst getting some standard coffee or an expensive snack. A little understaffed but hey...the ones that are here are very friendly and welcoming, so I guess it's that thing where we can't have everything!!!

Initially I thought all the Costa Coffee Shops are similar. But, this one proves its not!! Its Quite overcrowded on regular days whereas if u r here at the weekend, it will be hard to find a table! Further, the toilets are in the pathetic state - very poor state of affair! The food is good enough like other Costa shops!
The major thing I wanna mention is about the crowd - especially Male Arabs.. as I work nearby, whenever I visit this place, rather than being relaxed, I feel irritated sometimes cuz of the Arabic guys around this place.. those awkward looks won’t let u stay in there for more than 10-15 minutes I feel! I won’t say everybody is wrong, bt it’s just 2-3 that spoil it!

That was amazing experience with this Costa. First time I see so friendly and funny , full of energy and positive vibes staff in Costa. They made very yummy cold drinks for me and my friends. I couldn't choose what drink I want and guy made it for me like a small one taster one . That was unusual. But I was so happy. I had two drinks but payed for one. Thank you so much guys! Keep smiling and never give up on customer quality!
Next day I tried same drink in different Costa and it wasn't so good... don't know why.

Average coffee and food - sandwich was a little too dry. Service was amazing - they were fast and friendly.

Shop is small with limited seating.

Drink wise it's like any other Costa meaning it's usually good coffee. Service was a bit slow but the lady was all alone to prepare coffee and take payment. She was polite though. Toilets were not clean.
