Costa Coffee

We went for a coffee this morning, it took 15 minutes to do our coffees after we ordered and another 10 being the 2nd in the queue. There were 2 trainee baristas in peak time who had no clue what they are doing and no one in charge of them. Hopefully nothing went wrong today for them

Went here recently for first time. Staff were friendly and appeared to know some regular customers. We ordered 2 salted caramel frappes. Flavour was good but it was too thin. More on the lines of a milkshake. No sprinkles on top either. Wouldn't return for a frappe.

Great service this morning by Harriet and Scott, popped in for a coffee, was fairly busy, however was very fast and efficient service, both Harriet and Scott handled it very well, both kept very calm and got through all the orders as quickly as possible, only waited 5 minutes to be serve and my drink was already made by the time I had paid. Well done to Harriet and Scott for the great service this morning, will pop back in next time I pass through upminster

I’ve been coming to this costa for years and you go through a lot of staff. The lad who’s name badge says fahim you should keep this lad. It’s very refreshing to have great customer service always a smile, kind and very polite and hard working… I’ve seen him open the doors for disabled people. And make your orders exactly how you ask for it. And I’ve seen him helping his colleagues too. I’m not one for leaving reviews but I don’t want to see this lad go best I’ve seen in a long while.

I love the staff in here! Really get to know their customers, they are always busy and rushed off their feet but work so hard and still have a positive attitude! Their boss should give them a pay rise!

The girl taking the orders was either new or not very good. Her colleagues more than made up for her mistakes. Nice coffee

I often go in to this Costa to pick up my lunch and on many occasions a lady called Irina is patiently teaching junior members of staff. She manages to juggle teaching, dealing with customers and manning the phone with a smile on her face. She is clearly the most experienced staff member in there and really deserves a shout out for her great customer service, patience and hard work.
Without Irina I would be giving a much lower rating. Costa do not lose her!!
