Starbucks Coffee

Purely went here because I needed to use the baby changing facilities and then felt compelled to buy something. Like any self respecting food and drink snob I'm really not a fan of Starbucks coffee so we had juice. They have innocent kids smoothies, which my daughter seemed to like. Have to admit sitting there, drinking juice together, and watching the world go by was not wholly unpleasant.

Pleasant place with even more pleasant service. Top up a hot milk wasn't a problem. Small but with seating area outside.

Last summer (from May to July) I worked  in this Starbucks store in Belsize Park Haverstock Hill (London) and I lived the worst job experience of my life because of a Greek manager. He was used to scream out in my ear: "Let's go!!! Let's go!!!", when I was making different drinks for the customers, because he said that I was slow to make them and one time he voluntarily hit my hand when I was setting the coffee machine! When I finished my shift, he was used say to me: "Go home!" in a rude way and these ones are only some of his bad and really rude acts...Every excuse was good to bother and vex me without any reason, because I have always worked with diligence, doing all that the supervisors told me to do and being always at work on time!
I think that a good manger should help his employees...but unfortunately for me this one has not been my case.
Since I started to work in Starbucks store in Belsize Park, he never trained me or taught me how to work better or be faster.
So it is natural that since the beginning I have always had a not good feeling with him (that not has been my fault) and I have never been able to work in that store in the best way, because it is not easy to work in a place where the boss is always ready to accuse you when you make a mistake, making you only stressed! So I give you some advice: if you start to work in Starbucks, first of all, before learning how to make the drinks and mark the number of the coffee shots on the cups...be careful and hope to work in a good workplace with serious and professional people (especially managers) who help you to improve your skills and learn the best way of working better and faster in your tasks otherwise you risk to work in a really toxic and stressful workplace!

Staff was v helpful when I was not feeling well. Bless u guys !

Small but nice. Today, 7/10/21, I'm delighted by the barista who's attending all customers.
She's on her own and it's pretty busy (it's 7:22am as of I'm writing). She's very quick, on top of everything and always having a nice word for everyone!
Baristas don't get praised enough for the hard job they do!

Starbucks should be one of those places like McDonalds whereby wherever you are in the world - you get the same, good experience.

Regrettably, this particular branch falls woefully short.

For a start - while the opening time is stated as 06:15 hrs - this week I have observed that staff are rarely ready to serve customers until 06:25 or later.

This morning was different as one of the employees had the rudeness to ask his co-worker ‘what time do we open’ at which point the co-worker stated it was 06:15! This individual looked particularly foolish and certainly lacked humility as he went on to serve my order with no service what so ever e.g. left the cup sleeves off for me to put on.

Very disappointed that people who choose to do a morning shift have no respect to the ethos of the company or the customer.

This branch has certainly lost my patronage and i will be delaying my coffee fix by 15 mins in order to go to the Costa Coffee that is next door and opens at 06:30 hrs.

Ordered a Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate which looks and taste nothing close to what us being advertised. Tasted like a weak hot chocolate with chocolate whipped cream and no other toppings.

It's a starbucks, so the coffee isn't brilliant but you do know what you'll get. The staff are the best part of a visit friendly and helpful.
