This place makes me a bit sad. It you check out my reviews I don’t generally give negative ones but there are few positives I have found. I’ve given it a while to see if it was just teething problems but sadly I think this is just what it is. Expensive and not great. I can drink most coffees but have had to give up on ordering them. Just too bitter. Also the baked goods all look great but do not taste it. Then today we asked if they could do kids hot chocolates and it was as if I asked her to do something appalling. I suggested she just split a hot chocolate into 2 babycino cups (as they offer those for free with a hot drink purchase) and I just paid for an adult hot chocolate. She eventually, unhappily agreed and gave me 2 very hot chocolates split between 2 adult cups. I understand I was asking her to do something a bit different but this is a kiosk next to a play area. She didn’t need to be quite so unpleasant about it.
Fingers crossed they get better or it changes to a different owner.

Lovely place but really poor food for the price. Sadly, the vegetarian option for a sandwich was a bagel with cheddar cheese and a smidgen of pickle and three lettuce leaves. It was then taken from the fridge to be toasted so was somewhat warm and cold. Someone could really show you how to make a decent vegetable, satisfying lunch. Plus...it was £4!!!

Attractive surroundings for an enterprise that’s virtually a kiosk/hatch.
The very “basics”, all acceptably adequate and reasonably priced but not much more here.
Old Mother Hubbard would approve.

Refused service because I didn't have a face covering now before anyone leaps to the wrong conclusion let me just be clear...THIS IS AN OUTSIDE KIOSK IN A PARK.

The staff are walled away behind a plexi-glass wall and the customers are outside. Also at the time of service I actually went across as there was NO ONE else in the queue. That said the queue is always at respectable 2M social distance whenever there is one and again is OUTSIDE.

In case anyone thinks I'm anti-mask, I'm not.

In fact, despite the fact that I actually could claim mask exemption on two separate health grounds if I chose to, I show respect to others when going INTO a store and will wear a mask and shop as quickly as possible and get back out.

I do admittedly have a level of discomfort I go through when wearing a mask so I keep the time I spend wearing one as brief as possible but when shopping in an indoor environment I put the safety of others ahead of my own discomfort.

However, when taking my children for a walk in an OUTDOOR park, and approaching an OUTDOOR kiosk, with NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the queue, to be turned away without for not wearing a mask is simply ridiculous.

Again just to be very clear THIS IS AN OUTDOOR KIOSK WITH AN END TO END PLEXIGLASS WALL BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND STAFF.

The insistence on customers stood in the outside wearing a mask is not in line with the government regulations. Indeed, as I was told it is merely the company policy. It should be noted it is also a company policy automatically discriminates on the grounds of disability and is against the Equal Rights Act 2010.

I would pick up something from them on every single visit to the park with my kids and as this is where we generally have our family exercise before lunch would usually spend about £20/£30 each time. They do charge exorbitant prices for what they serve but I try my best to support all the local businesses where possible.

However, I won't ever be coming back now though as I refuse to support an organisation with such an idiotic, discriminatory and almost certainly illegal policy.

End of the day there is a lot better food, at a lot better prices from other local establishments we use regularly only a few minutes walk away, this little Kiosk was just convenient. But I'll take my money and go a bit out of my way from now on.

I run a karate school beside this shop and parents of my students always buy tea, coffee and snacks from here.

I tried their coffee and snacks and had an excellent experience.

Highly recommended ☕🍵👌💕

Nice coffee, wish they served unrefined sugar options, such as honey.

I visited for the first time on a Thursday late morning. Had a cackle egg bun and hot chocolate. Delicious. The service was quick and outside seating was clean and pleasant
