Starbucks

This is my favourite Starbucks (although they are all great), and I have tried all of them in Cambridge! It has lots of room, and all the staff are always lovely. Occasionally some really difficult customers come in. But they are so professional always. In particular, Alexandra, Sara and Harry are really great. A shout out to all the staff of all the Starbucks who work so hard.

Indeed it resembled coffee. But it had almost all the hallmarks of the nihilist society we abjure. Colorful, plentiful, personalised and personable, tasteless, flavourless, and emptied.

I accidentally ordered a large coffee, a verbal tick from a decade of the staff canteen.

The torrentine volume of fluid that was presented, sloshed and explicated upon my being was a revelation!

I do not know what has happened to this Starbucks store. Used to be really good and friendly. Now not staffed correctly or are staff suitably trained in my view. Store is not open correct hours. I've turned up today and sign on the door saying not open until 8:30am, had to wait over an hour for the store to open.

They do not have correct stock of basic items like cutlery, Jam for customers, toilets are not clean.

Avoid at all costs!

This is my second time this week (leaving my house with 30 minutes to spare before closing, arriving within 15 min of closing & at two separate starbucks, the first Newmarket Road and second time regent Street) that I've arrived to a sign on the door saying g sorry we are closing 15 minutes early tonight. Each time I see the same behind the door mopping floor. I've now wasted about 5.00 in petrol due to this. The shop should be open untill it states it is.it really IS a inconvenience. (Update...just found out from the staff at newmarket rd. he is the manager and overseas several shops in cambridge and his name is Louis.) His employees at the shop under him even said he needs to stop doing that.The rest of the staff at Newmarket Rd are all lovely girls.

The most disgusting Starbucks I've ever visited. After waiting and waiting because there was only one member of staff serving at that time the girl then wasn't listening to my order and completely messed it up, she couldn't careless and wasn't interested in what I was saying at all. The girl clearly didn't gave a clue what good customer service was. After the third attempt they got my order correct. The food looked like it had been run over by a car. The cafe was very untidy with tables dirty and not cleared and bits on the floor just left. I couldn't see out of the windows due to condensation...maybe there was a fault with the heating or venting system. I then visited the toilets...guess what? They were disgusting too. No toilet paper, rubbish on the floor dirty uncleaned toilet that was a health hazard. I mentioned the shocking state of the toilets to a member of the staff and their eyes just glazed over and they just ignored me.
How on earth can Starbucks justify such apppalling service.....

Such a relaxed Starbucks to go and chill, catch up with friends or just try and get some work done.

One thing I will say is the toilet needs to be cleaned more often. It's too small and outdated.

Absolutely no eggnog latte. No idea why Starbucks mentioned it's back when NOWHERE IN CAMBRIDGE and I visited 6x of them - is this drink. I understand its limited and available just once a year but what a coincidence that all starbucks do not sell it... 🤔 probably just marketing thing so my advice: don't even bother to visit... 29.12.2022 this drink cannot be found anywhere... also Starbucks- don't you think if this is THAT popular that you have sold out, you should restock? Especially its just ONCE A YEAR?

Clean, calm, comfortable and spacious atmosphere. Good service. Delicious coffee and cake.
