Chalk Coffee

Coffee was nice, but I waited nearly ten minutes for a coffee after ordering and there wasn't a queue. It was also very small, not what you would expect for £3, not when the same drink is only £3.15 in costa a few doors along and is over double the size. I wouldn't not recommend, but I wouldnt recommend either.

Fantastic coffee and the breakfast muffin was incredible. Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Great coffee, friendly staff & a lovely space

The atmosphere inside Chalk was electric. A modern cafe with amazing coffee and even better food. It was busy inside but didn’t feel like the volume was overwhelming loud that I couldn’t hear the other person I was having a conversation with. I had a hot chocolate and it was honestly the best hot choc I’ve ever had. To eat I had the smashed avo and added bacon and poached eggs. The sourdough was lovely as well with it. Definitely recommend!

Love this place. Coffee is delicious. Always pop in for a coffee when I'm in Chester. Great atmosphere. Always busy.
Only complaint this time is that the tables were dirty as they had been busy. Was directed by staff member to sit at a dirty table. Told someone will be over to clean table just now. Coffee then brought over to us and plonked in the middle of the dirty cups and plates already on table. Staff member very unfriendly ignored my request to wipe table. Had to ask for a cloth at counter to wipe table. Staff then cleaned table. Also not a huge issue but customer wifi was down on this occasion. However, still my favourite Coffee place in town.

Very tasty food and coffee. Lots of different speciality coffees and teas as well, highly recommend.
Could definitely do with a little more outdoor seating though.
