This relatively new cafe is located near the centre of Soham. I was with a bunch of eight cyclists when we visited this bright, airy and clean cafe. The staff we're welcoming and helpful.
As suggested by it's name, the cafe aimed at people with special dietary needs. As I don't have these needs I marked the cafe down by star, this may or may not be fair to you but it is a personal view.
There was an attractive array of vittles on the counter. My order was for a caffe latte, a scone and jam and the sticky ginger cake shown in the photo. All were great except the cake which had a slightly weird taste, probably because it was vegan and I'm not used to it. My cycling friends seem to be happy too. The food and drink took a little longer to deliver than I would have liked, but not excessively so. The prices were reasonable. I don't go to Soham very often, but I will be happy to Gloof when I visit next.

Preordered and prepaid for a birthday cake to be made which had to be gluten/dairy free. I was given a choice of cakes good selection of classic cakes I picked coffee cake without walnuts and was asked for any specific details for cake, today I collected and was given a choice of two cakes which was a lovely gesture. The cake was lovely Gloof will be my first choice for cakes next time..

Very pretty cafe. But bacon bagel reheated in microwave is not good. the bagle was tough when it should have been toasted, the bacon is fine reheated but only putting 1 slice of bacon on roll and bagle is not acceptable to serve to any customer especially for what you are charging . Staff member who was in I think only spoke 2 works and looked as though she couldn't be bothered being there not a good experience at all very disappointed this could have been a great wee place to have came back to next time we are visiting family but first impression won't be back

I’m not usually a person to ever write a review but this needed one! Do not waste your time going here!! Whether it’s for a quick take away drink or worst eating in!! I came here today after taking my daughter to south angle farm , I walked in and ordered 2 jacket potatoes with tuna mayo my daughter had jam on toast and 2 hot drinks , came to £29.98!! I’m sorry I know times are hard at the moment but this is a joke ! The jacket potatoe was done in the microwave and was unbelievably dry, it also had zero butter and Tuna still in chunks with no mayo ?! Really did taste awful! The lady was also so rude when I asked if there was mayo in it , her reply was yes I’m guessing you can’t taste it ?!?! The whole thing just really annoyed me ! It was just meant to be a quick and simple lunch ! I eat out most days and weekends and this was just terrible ! Don’t waste your time !
