Costa Coffee

I have been coming to this Costa now for more than 5 years and usually 5+ times every week. I always recommend it to friends and as a meeting place. The coffee and other offerings are always reliable. ALL the staff are friendly, efficient, and work extremely hard. Special shout out to FREDDIE who has been working there since the start of 2022. This young gentleman always has a welcoming smile, outgoing and friendly demeanour, and very anxious to please all his customers.

Not my favorite coffee chain if I'm honest, but I do enjoy my weekly meets there so does deserve 4 stars, just not to my taste is all.

Be warned! Check your bill at this Costa (Hersham). I have been charged full price for sandwiches that were marked 50% off and for the drinks instead of 3.80 each (price on the board) ive been charged 4 pounds each. When pointing out the mistake, staff was rude, lifting eyebrows and rolling eyes. Also ive had better drinks at other Costa's, this ones were very sweet and thats about it, not much flavor.

The staff could definitely use some basic hospitality training
Could smile and pretend to like the job they're in.
Not cheap beverages so shouldn't be cheap.
Experience is getting worse over time

Staff are friendly and food and drinks are great. The toilet when i was there was unflushed and smelt terrible

The staff was very unkind, I asked to have the bread which was obviously the sweets in the showcase, but said, this is not available, how come the bread not available is still kept in the showcase ? The staff served the person behind me who is ordering while watching smartphone, he asked to have same bread, then served him very carely asking if he needs paper towel or not, very sad, I never visit again here, bad staffs, discrimination, no respect.
I realized there are a lot of bad reviews.

It's an OK shop, lots of space, sometimes the que is long but the coffee is good and the waitresses and waiters are polite. A wide range of people come here and there is outdoor seating.

Staff are nice. (Costa Hersham) The place is filthy, my wife wiped down the sofa for our baby and the baby wipes were black with dirt. Trays not cleaned, floor not cleaned for a days. Such a shame.
