The Dene Coffee Shop

A nice cafe with beautiful garden and friendly staff. The whole place felt comfortable and pleasant. Had the jacket potato with the coronation chicken which was a decent portion and quite tasty but nothing too special. Ideally there is also a garden center next to it with some beautiful flowers, plants and pots. It was a perfect location for us after our hike in the Surray hills just next door.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The venue is kept very clean and airy. You can eat inside or out in the garden. Vegan offerings are poor but otherwise a pretty decent menu. I’d recommend it for an easy chilling gathering.

I had lunch with 3 of my friends here.
3 of us had Advocado prawn salad it was well presented and throughly enjoyed.

Food is overpriced and not good. Staff is not nice, they are massively disorganised. Dishes came at different times, very disappointing.

Just got home from a delicious afternoon tea. Beautifully presented and tasty, with bottomless tea and coffee.

The Food selection isn't that bad, but it is a bit limited, but is well laid out.
The Staff are polite and pretty attentive but there was 'something missing' here. It just didn't feel terribly 'inviting', but maybe I'm expecting too much here..

Ordered Prawn baguette with French fries and Salad with a pot of tea. Baguette was warm and full of prawns. Chips were crispy. Tea piping hot. Very enjoyable.

Stopped for lunch at the weekend, dxcellent food and service as usual, always a good choice of dishes and staff are always extremely helpful.
