I ordered cappucino, 1 chocolate brownie and 1 yougurt with 1 bottle of water. The place was alright. It is clean. However my cappucino doesnt look the way I want it to be, (it looks messy not with an art) aside from that it was not that hot. The rest of our orders were fine as it was just the same with other coffee store.

8 grapes and a half teaspoon of chutney for a 2 person sharing board had to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. When it arrived, we had to laugh because the portion size is a joke. Is this what inflation has come to?

The coffee is really good; that is a fact. And that’s why they’re getting two stars. However! The staff is incredibly rude. They constantly get orders wrong and then try to argue with customers when they correct them at pick up. If you want your coffee take away in the morning - don’t bother. You’re in for a 20 minute wait, and that’s assuming your order is even correct. If it’s not, you’re in for a morning argument with the barista who follows the order slip typed by the person on the till who by then forgot your order anyway. If you’re lucky you get an eye roll and a new coffee. If not, tough luck - enjoy that flat white you didn’t order and can’t drink anyway because it’s on dairy milk. Overall - if it wasn’t in my building I probably wouldn’t ever go to Notes, but geographically they’re the most convenient place. Guys! Please sort yourselves out because the coffee is really great!

Average. Clearly having training and staff issues. Lots of staff ( 4 maybe 5) onlyy one working the machine. Very long queue. Too long for a morning rush.

And after all that a pretty average coffee. Not even costa level quality.

What is the short guy with spikey hair doing anywhere near a customer facing role? As a regular customer, he is consistently rude. The final straw that made me bother to write this review; three times I asked for a strong earl grey tea brewed a little longer - I was totally ignored and was given what was essentially hot water with milk in it - turgid. And at a time when the café was not busy at all.
His general rudeness/aggression prevented me from asking him to rectify this. Really poor all round.

One of the best cups of coffee I have had in London hands down but brought down by the lack of organisation and seating.

The entrance is on the other side of the natural entry way and is filled with people, with no staff to help with seating etc it's a mess.

Otherwise, truly great flat white with rich texture and flavour. Good selection of milk and espresso based drinks, would like to see selection of roasts available too.

Definitely still recommend if you're in the area.

If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

Good food, coffee & tea. Breakfast menu until 4pm. Tables to sit and some of them have plugs on the wall next to them. Pleasant service. There is also a toilet suitable for people on wheelchair.
