Bustling coffee shop in the middle of Honiton, well situated to attract business from locals and those travelling in and out by bus. Clean, tasty snack food (if not a little pricey), and - importantly - nice coffee. Enjoyable, good range of table sizes, suitable for lone coffees or group drinks. Nice place to meet.

Always visit whenever I'm back visiting family, but when I visited during the holiday in the heatwave, I didn't actually buy anything the few days that I went in as they were out of ice or something like that. I believe they lost a lot of customers because of this. Despite that I have enjoyed every other visit

Normally we have a nice experience in here, but the last few times over the past couple of months have frustrating with new inexperienced staff, with issues such as having no ice available (staff openly admitting they forgot to fill up the ice), no change available, not knowing how the app works, slow service, serving wrong size coffees, we’ve decided it’s not worth the hassle and gone somewhere else.

I’ve used Coffee #1 in Honiton for over three years. I am a cyclist and use it sometimes on a training route. I’ve always been welcome to bring my bike in (as you’d expect I don’t leave a £11k bike outside) and always put it respectfully in the corner away from people. - until this morning, I get asked by a newbie staff member to leave the bike outside. The reason, they’ve had kids in….🤷‍♂️ Not sure what that means, I’m not a kid, I’m a 55 year old responsible man. If I’d come in with other club members I’d totally understand, but it’s one bike.
Don’t think I’ll be coming again. I’ll give two stars as coffee is good.

Fairly quiet but with a usual long wait to be served.Coffee still at reasonable prices and good quality. We did enjoy a large size Croissant filled with custard.A friendly atmosphere and a fine opportunity to meet up and have conversations with the locals

We go to this place every now and then for a hot chocolate but it's very expensive, the girls at the till are not very nice, I've asked something to eat last time and one of the girls (black hair, fringe and glasses on) for some reason expected me to know how things work and was pretty rude to me, me and my husband were shocked of how she spoke to me. So unfortunately we won't come back.

A lovely coffee shop in a Honiton, with a great atmosphere. Lovely sandwiches, cakes and coffees. Service is always friendly and efficient.
