Crouch cafe

Visited a few months ago when it said under new ownership. Asked for a cold chicken sandwich and the cook proceeded to use his bare hands to handle bacon for another customer and then pat my sandwich down, cut it with a knife and then wipe the knife on his trousers and hang it back up. OK, half of that isn't too bad and in a kitchen with good hygiene I wouldn't be worried, but I don't want someone to touch raw meat and then touch my sandwich. I refused my sandwich and left.

Work Friend went in to get 2 portions of chips ( medium) and was charged extra for the condiments I had on mine ie extra vinegar and ketchup, what’s that all about ? never been charged for salt and pepper anywhere ☹️

Great little cafe. So sorry to hear owner has to sell due to increased costs

5 stars just for the owner. How he manages all the cooking and orders whilst staying calm is beyond me. As for the all day breakfast I ordered it was great value. Every one else obviously agrees as he is so busy.

We went to have a breakfast there yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. Everything about it was excellent. Oh and so very cheap.
We would highly recommend

Amazing just amazing how is this such a small cafe I love it so much and the staff where some how possibly better than the food they really made my dreams come true
