Nice little Costa tucked away in a corner of The Old George Mall. I find this to be a very good location overlooking the pedestrianised area, and if you wish, there is a seating area outside. Very pleasant staff serving great coffee.

I must admit Im a Starbucks fan but thought I would give Costa a try for a change
Ordered a Caramel Latte with cream same as I order from SB so service was quick but while waiting thought I would also have a raspberry and almond slice, while waiting for the coffe I looked into the glass cabinet display on the counter and was somewhat dismayed to see the croissants crawling with what appeared to be fruit flies, staff seem totally oblivious despite me brining it to their attention they remained more interested in idol chat and on their mobiles. Coffee was made with sugar free caramel (I was told when ordering) which left the taste of sacrin in the mouth a most unnatural taste, I think personally the coffee is lacking something Im not even surethere was any in the cup as it just tasted like hot milk, so to summarise Im sticking with SB for now. thank you.

Took forever to get a coffee and a shame that nobody seems to clean the tables. Very average experience.

Great little cafe for a coffee and croissant. Some very comfy chairs and seating. Fast and friends service.

Depressing, staff that were more interested in complaining to each other than serving customers.
Looked messy, tables not cleared and absolutely no atmosphere, all of which could be overlooked if it was good coffee.
Sadly was probably the worst Flat White I have ever had 😥

I went in to buy two hot chocolates and was initially put off by the untidiness of the place. Yes, it was a Saturday afternoon but not ideal setting to see if you're about to buy food or drink.

I joined the long queue anyway as I was thirsty and needed a pick me up from following my mum round numerous shops but not buying anything...you know the score.

I looked at the cost of a medium hot chocolate and decided to leave. No way were two medium drinks going to leave me £7.00 out of pocket. I couldn't justify that cost when a tub of choc powder is a quid in Lidl.

Costa used to be reasonably priced but the prices now are a joke. I totally appreciate the impact of COVID and energy prices increasing but for that to cause such a hike in prices is ridiculous.

If it's a common thing that hot beverages now cost so much, I'd rather give that much money to a local, independent shop to be honest.

The atmosphere was good, and the staff were very polite and helpful. They brought my drink over to me because I had too much to hold, and although they had run out of sugar they told me how to get some from another nearby coffee shop. There were seats outside but they were all full with customers, but there was plenty of seats inside. The coffees were very nice. Good Costa!
