The Painswick Pooch Coffee House

After walking from Birdlip, we made it just in time to enjoy an afternoon coffee and cake! That, of course, was just the beginning... as it would turn out the new owners are living the dream as kindred spirits of my wife and I's experience of owning our coffee house in Oregon! There's nothing quite like being halfway around the world and seeing people dedicated to providing good service and the proverbial third place for locals and passerby's alike!

Delightful venue in the wonderful setting of Painswick. A good central location and close to the route followed by the Cotswold Way. We stopped here for coffee but the temptation was too much to not accompany it with cake. Their Carrot cake was lush! A nice place to spend half an hour :)

Cozy place, friendly staff, and good options for coffee, dessert, and light lunch.
I got Icecream; it was a local brand. Was good.

Coffee was great as were the cakes. This is a dog friendly place. No toilet inside is the only downside.
