Costa Coffee

Hats off to the poor staff members working last weekend when I went in. Lots of people, and it was clear there wasn't enough staff, one was barely trained and it was a hot day, so supplies were running low and they mentioned their dishwasher broke too. Despite this they worked so hard, and was very impressed with how they handled a clearly stressful situation.

Coffee was great as was the tea. Staff, as always, were very pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately there was no white bread for toast - only séeded which my wife finds disagrees with her. Decided to have a bacon bap and, oh dear! Bacon was fatty, greasy and just Luke warm! Not a pleasant experience! Drinks are lovely - just avoid the bacon baps! Such a shame because we have only had really good experiences of this Costa!

Busy coffee shop the hive of the village and a nice meeting place. A great selection of goods for all.

Semi-rural Costa, the road being far enough away to make outside seating actually a pleasure. Free parking around the corner (200 yards). Very nice Costa

Visited Costa in Verwood today. A nice comfortable venue with free parking right next to (behind) the cafe. There was a long queue which started outside which wasn’t fantastic on a cold day in January- however, as with many places at the moment this seemed to be due to some staff shortages. That aside, the coffee was well made and the environment/atmosphere were nice, the cafe was lovely and warm, the staff were helpful and friendly and we had an enjoyable time. I would definitely revisit - it seems we were unlucky to hit a busy spot. The sign on the door made me chuckle!!

Very nice and busy place in time of visit. Some very brave, young, and newbie man on the till. All good. Drinks as ordered. Cake yummy like always in Costa... High above the competitors such Starbucks or Cofe Nero.
Congratulations guys. Experienced crew need more patience to newbies 🤪
