Costa Coffee

Very busy

Lots of staff, who at times were standing in the way of the customers.

Used to come here most weeks, but has changed a lot in the last year.

I'm not a coffee drinker or ever really visit a coffee shop. However meeting friends so I didn't have a choice. Sat outside in the glorious sun, luckily there is also some shade from both friends and the awning 😀 . I enjoyed the cake and tea, although it was only cake and tea. Friends seemed to enjoy the coffee. Did not go inside. Went again and the cake was gorgeous.

Not impressed! I've had sandwiches before from costa in past and never had no issue. i always thought they was worth the money. I know they are not cheap but back when i brought them in past they was made well and ingredients was nice. I am not against the staff at the shop here nor have a issue with this costa as these sandwiches are probably made else where but besides the point of that i had blt and they wasn't worth nearly 4 quid. I have had other shops do better sandwiches at half the price. I feel this will be last time i buy sandwiches from here as it put me off.

Typical Costa Coffee experience.
Wait in line while they faff about just making an over priced coffee.
£3.15 for a flat white is not cheap.
When you finally get your order, you have to search for somewhere to sit.
Most tables taken up as usual by push chairs or someone sat there on their lap top for two hours.
Only came here as there wasn't much choice in the area but needs must.

Really tasty coffee ☕️ served here. Can get busy at times, but the service is as quick as possible. Staff is really friendly and helpful. If you use the Costa Coffee app on your smartphone, can collect points for free hot drinks. Parking spaces nearby next to main road in lay-by.
