Absolutely amazing coffee from they're very friendly staff happy to do and help anyone

Nice staff, nice furniture and decorations and nice drinks, but some of the food (specifically ones like the brownie and the cinnamon bun) is very rarely not stale, and they can be a bit unpleasant to eat because of that. But besides that, this place is really nice

Always good coffee and pleasant surroundings.

I have a complaint.

When I rang the number on their Google page I got a message saying they don't answer the phone.

When I filled up their contact form on their website I couldn't get it to send. So let's tell the world.

I visited this outlet on 1 Feb 2023 at 5.00pm. About a third of the tables were occupied. Despite this on of the two female employees was bustling about cleaning the seating area, restocking the condiments station and dismantling the displays of food in front of the counter. Throughout my stay 40 minute stay she had a large table from the middle of the room upturned on a settee. It looked dangerous and unsightly and I felt very uncomfortable.

It's tough to give this place a bad rating when the staff are so uber friendly and customer-focused, but the one gripe I have with this place is the dirty cutlery.
One of the rare occasions when I actually have a cake and I had to send the cutlery back only for it to be replaced with just as dirty knife, fork and spoon.
Sort the dishwasher, and you can get your 5 star review.

Pretty ordinary coffee shop. Tired furniture, needed to change a chair that was falling apart!
That was the Costa in the town of Barri.
Went to the one in Porthcawl today, what a difference!!
Lovely, clean, comfortable place with great coffee!!
Someone in Porthcawl Costa should show the Barri lot how to do it!!!

Pleasant enough, but understaffed when busy. Tables were full of used cups etc from previous guests. Not ideal, as they should really be wiped down between customers.
