Costa Coffee

Went in today to purchase a few take away drinks and the gent Morgan on front was extremely rude and attitude was appalling. Also not very hygienic was wiping the clean whipped cream nozzle in his dirty top! Will not be visiting this branch again!

Excellent customer service from Tom today. He was friendly, helpful and I overheard him remembering the orders of some returning customers. Particularly grateful for his help with gift card purchases. Thank you very much!

I don’t know what his name was but the gentleman serving today (Sunday afternoon) had a really bad attitude. He was unnecessarily rude when asking us to move seats because they were going to clean the bottom half of the shop. There was a ‘cleaning in progress’ sign on top of a chair in the way of that part of the shop, but you could easily walk past it without moving the chair, and there were people sat in that area and there was no actual cleaning in progress, so we figured it was fine to sit there. We were obviously mistaken but instead of just politely requesting we move (which would have been absolutely fine) he was very rude in his approach. He also barked at us that they were closing from behind the serving area (he was not even visible to us) at 4.45 when in fact the store wasn’t supposed to shut until 5, so we had to leave. We overheard him telling people they weren’t serving anymore 20 minutes before the official scheduled close, not even offering customers a take out option. When we left the shop I said a very undeserved ‘thank you’ as it is in my nature to be polite and he gave no reply and just shut the door behind us. I work in a customer facing role and wouldn’t dream of speaking to customers the way he did. The guy needs some serious lessons in customer service, or, probably the better option, the sack.

The staff here are so friendly and go over and above to ensure their customers are treated well.
By far the best costa around and I have been to a few. The coffee is the same in all but its the service that counts.

New young lady barrister is like an octopus ! Super quick and efficient , very good customer service .

A big thank you to the staff for staying open for a few extra minutes just so I could have my well needed coffee fix! Ellie and the Manager and the rest of the staff always treat everyone so well even when it's packed. A great team there you have 😀 Thanks a bunch.

Lack of sufficient staff equals a drop in standards.
Coffee given in cup instead of usual glass,when queried,young lady slammed cup under machine- coffee very milky.
Tables not cleaned,dirty dishes left on tables ,local cafes far more value for money,cleaner- unfortunately closed on Monday
