Nice find in a quiet town. Pleasant and bright for a spot of lunch. Some nice brunch options with breakfast items available until 3pm. Shakshuka a tasty treat and the cake delicious too. Good cappuccino to go with. Very relaxed, dog friendly and staff very helpful.

Stopped for brunch at this brilliant cafe next to the market square whilst away for two nights at a nearby cottage.
Warm welcome from the waitress and service was prompt but not rushed. Drinks and food (iced coffee, milkshake and full breakfasts) were all tasty and of good quality. A little pricey than others, but very good value for money when all considered. Recommend highly.

Lovely place and lovely food. We have been a couple of times now and definitely will become a regular. I recently had a surgery and they were so accommodating in helping make me comfortable so I could elevate my leg.

It's always the drinks that are the main problem. This time they served my husband with a cup of very weak Americano, so he asked for a French Press instead. The cream they served with it was the wrong kind to put in coffee, too thick, so it was separated in blobs on the surface. When we pointed this out, the waiter called the Manageress who asked us what kind of cream we put in our coffee; we usually put standard double cream. She told us that they use an even thicker cream and it was only bought that morning. No apology, bad attitude.
They got my order for Peppermint tea wrong and gave me Green tea. When I pointed this out, the manageress told me they are next to each other in the drawer. No apologies. We later realised were overcharged.
They have Turmeric Latte on their menu. I have only managed to have it once since they added it. I said to our waitress the last time I asked, in a friendly way, "You haven't had it for a year, how about taking it off the menu?" She did not apologise, but justified that they couldn't get it. I told her where it could be found.
Dogs can also be a nuisance there, barking for example.

Arrived at a busy time so had to sit outside so understood that. Couple on the next table I noticed had to go in to see if they had been forgotten so the waitress came to take our orders and was polite and apologetic explained they were very busy. We ordered cake and coffees and waited patiently. When they arrived the waitress dashed off and I noticed my americano was not black but a muddy brown as if something like milk had been added although I had seperate milk. I started with lemon traybake which was so dry so was my friends cake and had a sickly sweet topping which I scraped off. When I added milk to my coffee and tasted it it was undrinkable and had a bitter tang to it and got my friend to taste it and she agreed with me. At a cost of nearly £15.00 definitely not value for money. The food on the next table looked nice and I have eaten food there before which was really lovely. Perhaps keep an eye on how long cake is there and how stored to stay fresher. It is great to see this establishment so busy and that is commendable we don't mind waiting as long as the food served does not suffer.

Visited for the first time as it has a good customer rating and was full at the time we walked past. We ordered a bowl and soup and toastie. 30 minutes after ordering we still had not been served, on enquiring, we were told it would be another 30 minutes! An hour for soup and a toastie is ridiculous, so we cancelled and left. I can't comment on the quality of the food, but the tables on either side of us had already been waiting for an hour and still not been served with their meals. I have to assume they were having a bad day in the kitchen as I can believe the place could be so highly rated if this is typical of the service.

Update......after a quick and courteous apology we will be giving it another try next month

Usually very happy with coffee an cake but today decided to have breakfast. Ordered coffee, breakfast and cake. And sat and waited, and waited and waited. When I ask if our order would be out soon as the couple next to us had come in after us and had their food. I was told there was a back log. So waited a bit longer. Then more food came out for people who had come in well after us. So asked again , to be told they had run out of muffins and that someone was to get some. But people who had ordered after us had muffins. Gave up and left 45 minutes after arrived. Just be honest folks. You lost our order. Could have offered us a free coffee while we waited for our order to be done and would have been happy. I work in retail that has a café. If someone had just let us know what was going on instead of letting us sit there. It was only when we had asked twice for our food that this issue arose. When I challenged the fact I was told they only just realised.

Need to get the fundamentals right, the coffee quality and making was poor. The speed is far to slow and the service in general average. The pastry I bought was also stale. Oh dear.
