Independent Cafe in Tarring village. We visit about once a week - the food is good and the service always friendly.

2022 ... and still good! Burgers and chips followed by delicious Bakewell and Chocolate & Cherry fruity tarts today :)

Best cheese scones in Sussex!Have been tried by friends and family all the way to the New Forest. They all agree.staff are friendly and work very hard to provide an amazing service.

Very disappointed, had coronation chicken baguette couldn’t eat as was way to spicy not how coronation chicken should taste at all . Friend had breakfast baguette which he had to throw away as was completely plastered in ketchup . Very overpriced too .

I love a sneaky lunch here, nsit outside and people watch pick from an extensive but real homemade menu. The shortbread is to die for.

Just picked up sandwiches to take away but they were delicious and generous. Thank you.

Lovely family owned and run coffee shop.

The coffee was served piping hot (very rare elsewhere these days), cakes were to die for.

Nice seating area outside with polite, friendly and efficient staff. What else could we have asked for on a lovely sunny morning on Tarring!

My wife and myself will certainly be returning there, just a shame we hadn't visited before now.

Great selection of food at different times. Just read the chalk board to see.
Lovely food here, sit down tables sectioned off a bit from the take away counter, but very close together (ie less than 2 metres).
No WiFi - a great shame they are not able to sort out their user name & password. [Why not write the network name on the chalkboard?] Grumpy bloke (manager?) assured me it was the correct password (and refused to check it) and he didn't have the time to check what network is theirs (lots of similar available with passwords). Despite trying 4 times the password was wrong. So, no WiFi.

Very nice experience, lovely fresh Panini for a beef and stilton melt, good coffee and mum enjoyed her latte and cake!
