Watergate Deli

Popped in for coffee and toast. They got the order wrong and delivered (more expensive) tea cake. Accepted the tea cake as did not want it to go to waste, and it did look nice. At the till they charged us the full amount. It was their mistake so a bit disappointed that we paid out and they did not lose out. Nice coffee, albeit small cups.

Their coffee is to die for. Such amazing olives, and their salad box is ideal for a veggie packed lunch. The pies superb, and the cakes are a right treat and they are all home made.The staff are the nicest you'll find in Chester. You should defiantly try it!

Nice decor, refurbished since coming under new ownership. Went there for a break from shopping. Had to remind staff we were waiting for a pot of tea after about 15 minutes - it wasn't busy. The food was freshly prepared.

This is a great find, really enjoyed the the club sandwich, coffee is good and the staff are very friendly and polite. It is clean, spacious with comfy seating and the decoration is very appealling. We actually went in twice in one day because it was so quaint. I'd go again the next time I was
in Chester. 🍰☕

Great little gem, had a lovely brunch in a relaxed atmosphere, no rushing us. Good prices and nice food.

Good food and polite service. Coffee was fantastic! Only thing I would say is that the portions could have been a little bigger, served with chips etc. Would recommend the BBQ chicken panini and cranberry/brie sandwich.

This place is wonderful the staff are brilliant the food is good and you can even bring your dog.
