I won't lie. I didn't have the best track record in this college- with around 80% attendance both years, I may not have been the most liked student by all the staff. However, despite this, most of my tutors treated me with dignity and respect. I did Level 3 Games Design, and I feel a need to give a good word to both Chris and Mark. You can really tell they're passionate about teaching, and that they really do care about the students.

With help from my teachers and their continued support, I was able to achieve a final grade of D*D*D, a grade much higher than my target grade of a measly DDM.

I can't give you my honest opinion on any other course, but I can wholeheartedly say that the Games Design course is one of, if not the best course which I have attended so far. 5/5

I wanted to enrol on a computer course for the evenings. I was invited to come one evening to do an English and Maths assessment to see how clever or not clever I was before I enrolled on the course. After finishing these tests, and actually doing pretty well on them I was told I would need to enrol on a basic maths and english course before I could do the I.T. course. I explained that I had no interest in doing an English or Maths course, I just wanted to gain a recognised I.T. qualification to help me try and move on in my career. I also explained I already had good GCSE's in English and Maths. The tutor ( who was obviously only used to dealing with teenagers as she spoke to me like I was 13 ) expalined that it was there policy on all adult courses that students do a foundation English and Maths course before starting any other course. I politely told her that I wouldn't be doing that and left, rather annoyed that my time had been completely wasted. I called the college the next day to have a bit of a rant about it and the lady on the phone said that there was no such policy at all, no need to do any English or Maths course! Clearly there are some pretty awful tutors here!

I’ve just started at preston college as a year 11 learner, it is great. They support you and care about you unlike high schools. Preston college cares about you and your education and they make it look so easy, easy enough for high schools to do.
If your thinking of going here, I recommend.

I just wanted to say how much I have appreciated the support that Steve Nichols has provided in teaching me maths. English is not my first language and he has been patient and kind.
He is a great teacher and passing this exam has given me a real sense of achievement.Rasa

I tried to sign up for a course with preston but they where so very hard to contact and I had to ring multiple times a day for 2 weeks just to find I had been accepted and then they gave me no information on when the course starts or any dates or times. I was meant to receive a package in the post giving such details but nothing and now I have spent another week calling to get no answers.

Today my 12 year old and I walked into Harvard to sign him up for college. The dean rudely asked why a 12 year old was signing up for a prestigious institute. My son proclaimed "Well you see sir, I watch Starcraft". The dean tried to apologize but the police rushed in and dragged him out. My son passed all his classes with 4.0s and graduated magnet koom louder on the first day of college.

This place is badly run. Never get a car parking space. Full of youngsters standing around smoking. Food in the canteen is reasonable.
