I came to the college with 10 gcse’s and a head teachers award awarded only to the head prefect, head boy, head girl and me but I left the college with no qualifications. I was popular at school but I left the college unpopular. When the college realised I was struggling they suggested I did an apprenticeship instead so I applied to become and electrician or plumper. They put me into a engineering apprenticeship which I didn’t want to do. I completed the apprenticeship with a high qualification but I do didn’t like engineering and left after my apprenticeship. When you leave school the early years after are the most important so choose your college and courses wisely. Worst decision of my life was going to this college.

Just been with my son to enrol for September. A very smooth process, friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Enrollment day, nice staff and well laid out.
Edit:
A level results day. All groovy with 1st Uni given. Great place to study for the kids. Exams start before the buses arrive for information, which is just bloody stupid.

Not impressed at the moment but open to changing my mind! My child does attend Havant campus, a teacher was very unprofessional. In a class in the week of 26 Sept 2022 the teacher in question spent his time yelling, screaming and swearing at the students, making some cry and not explaining to them clearly and what is expected when he sets homework. This is clearly not acceptable and his behaviour is extremely unprofessional. I was tempted to go to the college but my child is scared of reprisals so I am unable to report this. My child is now considering a whole new career due to this person, loves the subject, is passionate about the subject has worked really hard to get the grades to get into the class. I hope Havant will emphasis to every teacher that this type of unprofessional bullying behaviour is wholly unacceptable, it is never acceptable to act like this.

I don't go here, but the parking is very confusing. I tried to meet up with a friend who goes here, and even they didn't understand where the carparks were.

if they offer you counselling just know it’s only for 6-8 weeks and then after that they don’t help you. they offer you booklets on how to get support from elsewhere which we all know takes ages. plus it was the college’s problem that caused the need for counselling by keeping a student who threatens you and tries to control what you do and say. i asked to see someone about it and they said the next time they could see me was in a week. they need more resources to deal with students and their problems.

This college used to be great but has fallen on worse times over the last 2 years. Many of my cousins and relatives used to go here and they had good successes here. However, recently my niece has complained to me about the dropping standard of teaching and teachers missing online video calls on google or staying on the meet but not teaching and just giving menial revision tasks from last year instead of actual lectures.

This is especially in the chemistry department starting from the last few months. This is detrimental to children's education here as they didn't give her any live lessons in her subjects in the last lockdown and now they only make a show of these meetings on google. I am very surprised that such a good college would continue to have some teachers doing this especially considering the complaints over the alternate week system in the news.

I understand certain departments are lacking teachers but that doesn't prevent teachers merging classrooms online and giving proper lectures and teaching new content instead of giving menial time-wasting revision tasks from previous year's content and only talking for 15 minutes instead of the full 2 hours.
I urge Mr Gaston to fix this as it is affecting your college's reputation in my community and diminishing it's good standing as a place of education.

I highly recommend anyone looking at this college to look away immediately, the Vice Principal Dan Beale should in all honestly be fired for his sheer incompetence and lack of any empathy towards students including the terrible administration.

It's clear that he can't handle anything properly and must have done some shoddy "Sports science" degree as he always finds a way to make himself look innocent and reply with the same eloquent but meaningless rubbish.
