The place looks good on the outside. But the flats, badrooms and bathroom, are too cramped. The laundry room is the worst in the campus as far as I know.

I just want to go home, it feels so utterly cold and lifeless here during covid precautions. Not the College's fault and i admire how firm they are on covid safety, but it just feels spartan and disconnecting.

University of Kent is based in Canterbury and Darwin College is part of the University. Both are undiscovered gems that are worth visiting for the benefit and future of your children.

Rude receptionists and one of their vending machines on the right doesn't work.

It is 11pm and you say it's time to sleep since need to wake up early. You lay down on your bed, close your eyes, try to relax, think the day, etc. And you are in deep sleep, a state of total relaxation and, maybe, with some dreams accompanying it. Well, it is not that easy. Because your room will turn to red and the fire alarm will shout at you loudly. Perhaps you will suppose it a dream for some seconds and afterwards you will consider your choice of university/campus/dormitory again--since it is routine so far happening once in two weeks. You can not stand the noise the alarms make, as if Germans bomb the city. However, you are very very relaxed because you are sure that there is no fire but maybe a technical problem or a little joke done by your dear friends.

You need to be fast and wear some clothes. You may wait for 10 to 20 minutes in the street. Britain is cold but it is not a problem. Look from the good side: you will have a chance to see the campus at 1-2-3am, which you do rarely. (Shivering is normal, don't be so delicate.) The sky and stars is yours, enjoy! As I said, you have only 20 minutes to do that and after you will go to bed and could not sleep immediately (maybe for an hour or more) and when you wake up, you will be sleepy: what a perfect start for a day.

Can’t say it was great - kitchens and bathrooms were atrocious, needs modernising. Rooms decently sized with good storage space but some rooms have terrible mould - friend of mine had a mushroom growing in the corner.

Good housing and everything, but tried connecting my Chromecast and it couldn't connect to the WiFi because the university makes it insanely hard to connect to their "precious" WiFi. Also, absolutely no signal in my room, so long to making phone calls.
