Fleetwood Nautical Campus

I am currently on a two year programme with B&FC and my experience so far has been fantastic. The facilities are amazing, tutors are great and I am really enjoying the course and its content. Initially I had concerns about going back into education but it has all been made so easy and I have had support throughout.

I attended B&FC back in 2003 - 2005 and studied the National Diploma in Sport and my 2 years there were fantastic. Back then, all the members of staff were brilliant. No matter what I required there was also someone able to help. I could not fault the place... Since then, the college has improved even more, not just in terms of its facilities, but also its performance. The latest Ofsted result of 'Outstanding' was well deserved and it was great to here of the Colleges reward for all of its hard work over the years. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to further their education.

Very good college with very helpful staff. Probably one of the best nautical colleges in the country and on the whole amazing lecturers, college vibe and higher education.

Definitely the best. My son was a University for 2 years . What a waste of money that was doing Law. My son managed to be taken on by a fabulous company V ships and is now in his second year and enjoying every minute even with the virus. Would recommend this college to any parent. The teachers and the college really look after your children and the things they learn wow.
I read up my sons work with jealously. Would have loved to have done what he's learning now.

Done my FOET course here every four years since 1996 (I think). The campus has really developed over the years, so it must be doing something right. The pool facilities are superb for teaching helicopter ditching, CA-EBS, EBS, life raft entry and making safe. There is fire fighting done a very short drive away. The teaching staff have always been brilliant and I have no hesitation recommending them for offshore training. Covid controls are being implemented, with the sorry downside that I didn't get my Xmas dinner this year.

The PST course with Lou, Dave and Alex was spot on. I've done this course before with another college, but this was very well set out and memorable. Hugely appreciated, see you again in 5 years!

Recently completed the BTM course with Brian. Extremely well put together and ran smoothly. Learnt an awful lot.
The college has really good facilities, especially for navigation work.
Unfortunately the catering isn’t so good, there is some room for improvement
