They post a book for sale and then raise the price of the book once you show interest in that book. Terrible business practices. Buyer beware.

The Comic Alchemist cleaned and pressed several of my higher grade comic books recently, ready to be sent to CGC for grading and then sale. After pressing we were sure the books had been elevated to higher grades but neither of us could believe to what extent. He managed to get 2 of the books which I thought were both 8.5's to mind blowin' 9.2's each! The rest of my books were all graded above both of our expectations too. I would not hesitate recommending his pressing and cleaning service. If you go to the Comic Alchemist you'll be dealing with a genuine comic book fan so he does understand, whatever your needs might be. Its also worth knowing that he really does wear his bright coloured tights and cape around his work place too.

I just got my first book from The Comic Alchemist and it is in absolutely perfect condition. I was also impressed with how carefully it was packaged to send! I will definitely buy from them again!

received a slab with scratches and a book that moved in the old CGC case which caused the book to wave and be far away from the mentioned condition. that was already the case before shipping. Seller didnt want to find any solution which meant I had to pay taxes and shipping cost for nothing. Not to recommend...!
