I and kids freaking love this place.

Staff are excellent and they cater for all ages. Loved the games room where you can hire retro consoles and sit in relaxing sofas to play them. Coffee shop area is well stocked and coffee is nice.

Good selection of comics spanning all price ranges from Pocket money to adult with to much spare cash 😀😀.

Just the most incredible shop for anyone who loves coffee, comics, and gaming. The video gaming area at the back of the shop is pure retro heaven, and I've already spent way too long gawking at all the geeky goodness! The guys who run the shop are friendly, personable, knowledgeable about all things comic-related, and their caramel latte is possibly the best I've ever had.

These guys have nailed the balance between genre, collecting, hobby, and community. Comics, collectibles, and games along with an excellent cafe and clean facilities. They deserve more visits, and more attention.

Fantastic comic book shop. I'm a massive fan of table top gaming (Warhammer), comics and board games in general and this shop offers all you could need to enjoy them. The quiz night hosted by the The Comic Shop was a fun night out and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely head back there when I'm next in Crawley. Highly recommend this establishment 👍

The reviews here surprise me, because our experience isn’t reflected in the review whatsoever.

This comic shop is not welcoming. My daughter is getting into Magic so would go along Wednesday evenings only to be shunned over and over by regulars. Then lockdown happened, and she was too nervous to try again.

Only last week her bf visited from Ireland so she took him along to show him the shop and they overheard patrons say “god I hope they don’t stay, they’ll ruin it” or something along those lines.

The staff weren’t welcoming. When I’ve been in with her we just get stared at like we’re not welcome.

On the flip side the pair of them went to Warhammer afterwards where they were greeted by staff and patrons alike, that’s how it should be.

You’d think in such a niche area both staff and patrons would welcome fellow geeks and nerds into the fold, but not at this shop. Maybe if they had new players evenings it might be more welcoming.

I come here to play Adventurers League every other saturday. It's a great little hole in Crawley for nerds and geeks. My only complaint would be the extremely lax security. Mostly on the weekend evenings. I'm not saying they should hire a doorman, but at the very least the front door could be shut on weekend nights. We all live in Crawley. I don't think any of us under an illusion about the kind of never-do-wells that prowl the high street on weekend evenings. A constantly open door is inviting in trouble, as it did a couple of weeks ago. Those who were there know.

Amazing store! Everything a nerd could desire! I am keen Warhammer player and this shop stocks most of the stuff I want and every paint I could want!! If they don't have it in they can order it in for you and they are all at discounted prices Vs actual Warhammer stores! The citadel air range is the cheapest I have found and even beats online stores! That paired with friendly staff, excellent food and great gaming space makes for a tremendous visit! Couldn't recommend more!

Beyond amazing. The staff were welcoming, friendly and chatty as well as very helpful and kind. The drinks were stunning as well as very filling and very easy to order, bringing them to our table was a really kind touch too. We were there all day, about 10 hours, and they were totally cool with us throughout our whole game. Adore the small touches like the pride flags on the tables, though we did wanna hoard all those fitting our characters, and the small toiletries in the bathrooms were a brilliant touch. Totally coming back, really touched by the day and going to be recommending wide and far.
