Lovely community garden with a great specimen of Monkey puzzle and a variety of plants and a fountain. Has benches for those who need a little sit down.

Such a beautiful garden, maintained with a great variety of flowers, shrubs and trees by volunteers.
I have the great fortune of living opposite so it's my view and my substitute front garden.

Down the end of Anglesey Road towards the the sea; on a clear day the Isle of Wight appears tied up in Stokes Bay ahead and to your left is The Crescent. Built in 1827-1830 (Jane Austen 1775-1817 era), this beautiful Regency terraced architecture is an unexpected gem. It's comparable with London and Bath but has the added grandure of being fronted and opposed by gardens. The footpath is wide, flagstoned and level giving good access to the well maintained Crescent Garden across the quiet road. This garden is free to explore and enjoy throughout the seasons. A quiet place to contemplate, read a book, listen to the birds or identify the many plants and shrubs. A pathway at the rear of the garden avoids walking on the lawns in wet weather so you don't have to wear wellies.
