Ealing computer services has good engineer , we did not have any problem with them , very good and fast service .
I was there yesterday to collect my MavBook Air , it was water damaged , when I had contact with Apple Store White city they asking to change Motherboard for £800.00
Ealing computer services charged me only £175.He repaired my computer .
Thank you
I took my PC for what I thought would be a simple fix (an issue with my PSU fan, or the PSU unit itself). I dropped off my PC and was waved away wit a vague "It'll be ready when it's ready and we'll call you about price". Not a good start but during lockdown options were limited and I was desperate.
I then had ZERO contact from the store, despite multiple attempts to chase, in person. I was always told I would be called back later with an update. This never happened, not by email nor by phone.
Eventually I went to the shop to ask for my PC back, as it had been 2 weeks of nothing. The individual in the shop would not let me see, or pick up my PC. After what must have been a 10minute debate I was told I would get a call later in the day and that was the best he could do.
To my surprise, I did get a call saying the PC was fixed and I could pick it up the next day. I picked up the PC, had to pay in cash, was given an unprofessional invoice with the description of services being "motherboard reset power problem repaired serviced". I had not asked for my motherboard to be looked at, I was not aware it had an issue. The PC ran fine except for the noise from the PSU.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt I took it home, plugged it in, and the noise was there immediately. I had just paid £145 to not have my PC for 2 weeks and not have the issue fixed.
The usual tactic from the owner seems to be deny the person was ever at the store, so I have attached my invoice as proof.
This is a scam, or at best, gross incompetence and management. If you want to to throw away money use this place.
If you want your PC fixed go elsewhere.
On the very last day of the warranty period, the laptop refused to charge up. The next day I rang in and was told to bring it back. When I took it back, I explained that it was the same problem, and I expected them to fix it for free. I explicitly told them I WOULD NOT be paying for more repairs unless notified. (The man I saw was a different guy to the first person I dealt with.)
They fixed it anyway, or they say they have, without notifying me of the problem, and the cost. They now want to charge me almost double the original repair, for work I did not authorise. As it stands, they still have my laptop.
Update: My laptop has been returned, fixed, and a price agreed for the repair. As a goodwill gesture, I was given a brand new charger, as well as a discount on the original repair cost.
Thank you.
The response received seems to be to another client. For a start, we did not let the owner deal with anything related to a screen. This shop seems to have too many dissatisfied customers, it is too hard to keep track of all of these. The comments we made above are hereby confirmed.
