We stayed here for one night late May. Excellent surroundings, extensive lawns and lake. We were greeted at reception by a very pleasant young lady who, explained everything in detail about our forthcoming reservation. In fact, we found all the members of staff were very friendly and efficient.
Our room, in an a-joining block was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately our sleep was interrupted at 12.45am by the folks in the next room. Not the Hotels fault, just mindless people.
Breakfast was the 'standard full english' served buffet style.
There is also a bar for refreshment if required.
If in the area again, we would definitely book a room here.
Such a peaceful area, ignoring our neighbours of course!
Give it a try.

A Lovely Experience!
We arrived on the hottest day of this year so far and checked in at 3 pm. The welcome was very friendly and our Superior room in Orchard cottage was perfect. Being on the ground floor with French windows and a terrace it more than met our requirements. We were pleased to find it was cool and spotlessly clean. Value for money and we chose to have breakfast two mornings. Some fruit at breakfast would have been nice but otherwise it was very good. We would come again. Drinks on the terrace of the main house was very nice. The grounds are exquisite. There are good places to dine nearby.

Beautiful place and stunning grounds.
Room size was a bit mean for £100 - not in the main house, probably as we didn't request breakfast.
One star short because breakfast is not available until 0800 and there is no food in the evening.

Total bad experience at this hotel stayed for 2 nights over bank holiday weekend. Got given a room with balcony only to find a wasp nest right next to my door complained and was told i will be moved to otherside of building went to next room to find out I was 2 rooms away from wasp nest won't back to reception to complain again and got moved to another building. Not once did management offer to help with moving bags and not even offered a complimentary breakfast or drink as way of sorry. Total lack of respect to customers. Plus not once was bin emptied outside carling cans and dog mess in bags left for 2 days absolutely disgraceful management would never use this hotel again

Middle Aston House

A beautiful building set in beautiful grounds but really not used to its full potential.
Bar closed and think breakfast was only available at weekend

18 minutes from Bicester

We stayed here for 3 nights in July. We have stayed before.
My partner is disabled and uses an electric mobility scooter.
It was the same lovely receptionist that was there last year.
We checked in and had the same room as last time. Check-in straightforward no hassle.
We stayed in a ground floor room in one of the blocks in the grounds not part of the main building
As before room was basic but almost suitable for our needs, this is reflected in the price (£195 for 3 nights) nothing had changed, Extremely clean and of a good size, still very dated with a double bed (not king). No AC. Never enough hangers. Has tea/coffee making facilities, tv, bath with shower over the top plenty of hot water body/hair wash, towels.
This is not an accessible room as no one in a wheelchair could negotiate getting into the bath to shower, it really does need the bath taking out and a walk in shower...
We stayed on one of the hottest periods but the room remained cool.
Found it very peaceful at night.

We would stay again but I really think a shower that can be accessed by a disabled person is a must.

Lovely venue, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for small or large gatherings. We had a small intimate gathering for 30 family members, and could not criticise anything. A lovely picturesque location, will definitely be going back again.

Fantastic and Stylish Wedding Venue!

Middle Aston House tick all the boxes - amazing rooms, very photogenic interiors, really friendly staff and the estate, love it. We were impressed that everywhere you point a camera the result is so good.

Our couple and their wedding guest were really impressed and had so much fun. Shot there a wedding and would be delighted to be back.

Higly recommend!

Thank you.

Main course was not hot enough for me, the room was rather small but the bed was comfortable.
