I have bought my newspaper every day for over 20 years from this lovely little shop. The staff have always been great - they are friendly, helpful and polite - until now. There are two new members of staff who don't know the words "Please" or "Thank You" (probably more to do with their upbringing than staff training) and are almost oblivious to the customers. It's become a horrible experience to shop there - it's now just like most other shops that couldn't care less about the customer. Although it's further to travel I'll go to Morrisons for my newspaper in future and just hope that these two women realise that they do not have the skills to fulfil their role and go and work somewhere where being brain dead and ignorant is acceptable.

I've had reduced items withdrawn when I got to the till. Told mark-downs were a mistake.

Cannot fault the shop or the staff. I have seen them approach elderly and disabled customers on a one to one basis to help with shopping (going around with them) and helping them pack etc. The staff seem to be like a family which is a great atmosphere when shopping. A tidy, clean shop that has always been busy which shows how much they are needed and liked in the community.

Omg I love going in here the staff are always so friendly and extremely helpful, nothing is to much trouble for them. Such a lovely place to shop and I will be telling everyone to shop here. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind. Merry Christmas 🎅 xx

we bought a 2 litre bottle of diet lemonade from the spar and when we went to open it it covered the WHOLE kitchen in lemonade. after that we had about 1 litre left the other was all down the walls and on the roof. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL

Friendly and welcoming staff. It also is a well stocked store. Would recommend
