Co-op Food - Cambridge

Nice, spacious and a reasonably good selection of food, drinks, basic hygiene articles, and some newspapers + magazines. (However, no pens, paper, sticky tape, or office supplies – I hope they might add these articles in the future.)

William behind the counter is fantastic! He goes the extra mile to cheer people up- very friendly and humorous.

I don't usually buy vegetables here: worms in the packed salads, vegetables become rotten next day. But this store is convenient for other products and the staff is always nice!

Chased me out of shop accusing of shoplifting - self checkout didn’t let me cancel an error and no staff on hand, so I moved to the next till and paid. Staff were still rude to me even after I showed my receipt - they should really have apologised and not dug in for winter. Even ignoring this incident, the food is often rotting on shelves (as you can see from other reviews) and the store is slow at dealing with lunchtime queues. Even if you can find something plausible, it’s generally expensive and worth walking past to go to a competitor at the station.

Still not a happy chappy really, i love the co-op but the fact they have no croissants on a Sunday morning is an absoulte joke. But, I have to admit i love the service and it's actually very well stocked normally. Thankyou for your service.

Staff are great but stock in store is poor the store is near my workplace but always end up in tesco as stock replenishment is so poor

Most of the products you find in normal coop or tesco or any supermarket you don’t find there also closes early what a waste of space in this location
