I disagree. Prices do not reflect the prices listed on certain items which is a trading standards issue. Expensive and poor selection. The gentlemen who works there granted is a nice man very polite. The other lady on the other hand who works there is miserable and rude.

I'd rather drive to Tesco.

Took grand children camping at the old post office they punctured the air bed found Eskdsle stores on Google it was like an Aladdin's cave kids love there new air bed thank you for saving the day they loved there new socks

Brilliant little shop trying to stock everything you might need in this remote part of the lakes. The couple that own/run the shop work tirelessly to keep standards exceptionally high.

Perfect shop for all you need. Great for emergency supplies too. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Best spiral cumberland sausages in the lakes. Get there early Wednesday to avoid disappointment.

great little store that saved us when we forgot half of our food when camping

As a local I love this store! Personal service and nothing too much trouble for the owners. Very convenient, particularly since the addition of the post office service and well stocked.

A real village gem which is so helpful in quite a remote location. You could easily eat from here for a week and not have to go to a larger town for food. Locally sourced produce and meat. Has an upstairs with lots of useful outdoor gear. Great for a quick trip from your rented accommodation at 6pm for an ice cream to go with your "back from the hills" cup of tea/coffee :-). Open 7 days which is great.
