Pretty small so not much selection. Pretty much an overgrown corner shop. Reasonably convenient for my way home from work, but otherwise I'll generally go to Tesco at the other end of the Parade if I need something specific and don't want to drive.

Standard coop with the addition of a noodle bar. You can eat take out or sit in and it's decent enough quality. It's a separate queue to the main shop but it can be busy at lunch times.

Excellent selection of food here. Perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat for lunch. Right next to nice parks too.

Good sized co-op with a noodle bar inside. Good opening times and great for just grabbing a few bits or lunch.

Here as they had a good range and looked homemade with crusty bread.. they stopped doing them and now they just do same old rubbish sandwiched they have in the other co up up the road... it does smell nice In the shop coz of the noodle bar ..slow staff on the till glad they have self service tills

The shop itself has always been cool. The Chozen Noodles food bar does utterly fantastic katsu chicken curry too. Magnificent.

I was staying in the hotel next door to this store.

The website, the GMB page (which they haven't even bothered to claim) and signs plastered all over the frontage advertise their opening time as 7am.

After a ten minute wait someone deigned to open the door to say they didn't open till 8 "because it's Christmas". Not by my calendar: Christmas is parked firmly on the 25th of December and this was the 29th.

After a short conversation the 'Team Leader' was wheeled out only to re-interate the point made by the not-ream-leader.

Despite saying I only wanted a toothbrush I was told it was against the rules. Who needs common sense when we can have rules instead?

The staff were not impolite or discourteous and we all have off-days. In my opinion, the feeble level of service stems from higher up the pay scale; and the fault does not lie with the store staff
