Rating based on the stores inability to fulfil collect + service contract.
Each time I try to return parcels in this store I am met with either resistance or refusal, with staff stating the storeroom is overflowing.
Why advertise as a collect + service when you deem it appropriate to pick and choose when to accept parcels?

Following my last review and the response from store manager, I again tried to return two parcels at this store. Upon entering the store I was immediately told by Caron she could not accept parcels. When I questioned this, saying I am always told the stockroom is full, I was informed that her compliance manager advised her she should not accept further parcels. When pressed, she agreed to take the smaller of the two, saying it was too full already. She then said it was “this the time of day” which is completely untrue as I have tried various times throughout the day and always receive the same response from her. I informed her I will be making a complaint to head office to which she replied that it was “this time of year” which is untrue as this happens throughout the year regardless of the season! She further suggested I go to Parkwood as “they have more room”. This is my local store, convenient to me and I do not have time to drive around Maidstone because it suits her best.
Considering Carson’s continued resistance to fulfil the contractual obligations of the collect plus contract, I will be escalating my complaint to the group operations manager and suggest the store owner provides some much needed customer service training to their staff.
