Pleasant newsagent

Rishi’s News is a friendly and well-run local shop . A paper delivery service is provided which is prompt and reliable. Photocopying and other services are also available. . . . . . Over recent years Richi's has widened its scope beyond that of just newsagency products ( e.g. Groceries ). It is a highly recommended local facility.

Sadly I found them most unhelpful when sending a hermes parcel :(

Do not go here! The man is a crook, he just makes up his own prices and overcharges people. Would not even use the scanner- £6.89 for a purchase less than £4 down the road! Did not argue as such a small amount of money, but when you think about it I find it outrageous!

Used to use regularly, but less so now the nearby Tescos is open. Overcharges for most things, but good in a pinch. Owner is distinterested and unhelpful, his wife much nicer...! Now we only use it for parcel returns.

I drove 2 miles to drop off my fairly heavy parcel, at about 6.15pm, 45 minutes before their closing time.

Not for the first time I struggled to access the labelling in the store (more wifi issues?) for about 20 minutes, watched by the somewhat disinterested store person.

Eventually, relief as I got the label printed but sadly no joy! The scanner used to verify parcel labels had run out of battery.....so I'd have to bowl back over there the following morning. Needless to say I was not best pleased, and not even a hint of an apology from the store owner.

Frankly they are a waste of time.
