I called today Friday at 2 20 pm. To enquire if they have one for all gift vouchers in stock.I was told by female assistant that they do not sell ANY gift vouchers anymore ! I asked if the post office had stopped selling them and not just the shop as I purchased gift vouchers at Christmas .She again said No the post office or the shop do not have any .I asked why they had stopped them and she said she did not know! I decided to look online to see if the post office had a separate telephone number. They did I called and they still sell gift vouchers and have always done so! Obviously I am glad I checked .NOT good.

Great place to shop to top up on certain items you have even runout of last minute items and we have a great post office inours

Think you need to teach some of your staff manners. I went to your Stanhope store today was serve by Brendan the most rudest uninterested member of staff. I actually said to him that he needed to have training on manners. So rude!!

The staff are always very polite, & I've had no problems, go in there most mornings after school.
They've all worked very hard throughout this Pandemic, risking their health to ensure the community has been able to buy food etc, they've been my lifeline & we should all be thankful they're there. Well done to all staff, past & present.
As for the racist incident, I don't know what happened, I'm not a racist person, but I don't feel it should be down to the cashier to handle this, when you work in retail of any kind, people think you should be able to deal with anything, & treat you like rubbish, this in itself is totally unacceptable.

A handy local store with a good selection of products. A little tight through the aisles but allows for a larger selection of products. Perfect for lunch meal deals, newspapers, fresh produce, frozen food and household items. Also have a good selection of seasonal products too.

Its hard working in retail but you have to deal with any situation as it occurs. The employee should have refused to serve those people. The poor girl had zero support.

Friend was a victim of racism and was told to leave the store. Staff member who witnessed this did nothing and allowed this kind of behaviour. Staff member deserves to be fired.

Train your staff properly on how to deal with customers. Disgusting behaviour by your staff at the counter when another customer complained of racism by customers he was serving.
