Co-op Food - Claines - Ombersley Road

I'm sure there exist, shops that are worse than this. Perhaps in remotest parts of South America, eastern Europe or Wales. The only thing customers are guaranteed here, is disappointment.

Having said that, if you are a fan of queueing then you wont leave downhearted. Even if you are the only customer in there, waiting at the till is mandatory. I would have awarded 1 star but chose 2 stars as many of the staff are very pleasant.

Good corner store. Friendly staff. Free parking. Fresh bakery produce. Staff open more registers when a queue forms so not along wait. 4 stars as a bit more pricey than similar supermarket chains however they do have good discounts periodically too. Happy to have this store nearby.

Fresh bread never available when I visit, but they have expanded their pastries, so helping out with the obesity crisis to inflate profits. Co op not what it was

Quite small has reasonable stock quality is good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I use this branch as its on my way to work...staff always a bit slow to get to the till...some staff very friendly, others don't even acknowledge you and carry on chatting to their colleague when serving you ! One of my biggest pet peeves !

Handy for yours truly, but like a lot of places not a lot of bargins and not the cheapest way to do a weekly shop.
