Co-op Food - Hackney - Theydon Road

Store recently renovated. Entrance is restricted inshore by baskets. Design flow or layout of store feels "boring" and range of goods very limited and shelves quite often not stocked well.

My local shop, never has anything you need. Expensive too. Nice staff tho

No cold drinks what so ever all the colers not working it was really hot day needed a cold drinks for every one

Edited review (further time over the years) - store has really improved in the past year or so. Still sometimes run out of the basics, but food quality and availability much better than it used to be. Covid was a low point and they still tend to run out of bakery items (way too small a section)

To many empty shelves lately not good!

Great for the odd shopping trip for essentials. Very pricey not very competitive you may find the odd good deal but would try to avoid to save costs.
Low stock empty shelves and not the best choice for healthy options.
In short if you stuck it's great if your watching your pocket as I am avoid.

The staff are really helpful and friendly and as a brand coop are more ethical than other retailers, so while it might not be a massive shop it always has the items you ll really need!

Nothing to be excited about. Horrible blaring "background" music. Only one staff member at the till deserving a Guinness word record for absolutely s l o w serving.
