SPAR - Chesterton Road

Useful store for last minute shopping, well stocked with variety of foods. Very good fresh fruit and vegetable selection. Helpful staff. Love the fact that they have a great fresh fish van outside on Wednesdays. Friendly fish monger with amazing selection of fish.

Lovely little shop, fresh fruit, veg, breads and eggs from the local area and good selection of alcohols (mainly wines, lagers and spirits). Staff and management are always easygoing and friendly, and there's usually good deals on snacks, drinks, frozen and alcohol. Been working here on, off and on again, Spar-branded products can be hit and miss (80-20) but our sandwiches, hot food, in-store bakery and Costa coffee machine make a great lunch if your in the area. Good for quality essentials, great offers now and again, or snacks you might not find elsewhere. Cheers.

Rude manager ..named Rajesh . He has no idea how to handle customer's issue . He was saying to me that he has no time while we discussing about an issue which related to his shop . Sad!

Rude staff!! Worse than any shop in Cambridge I've been to!

This shop lost my package that had been delivered to them by Royal Mail. Royal MaiI had sent me a photo of the package sitting on their delivery counter - see below. I have visited this shop twice and showed them the photo, the staff were helpful enough in trying to locate it, but the package had disappeared. This should not happen! I don't know if this a regular occurrence, but I would not recommend this store for click and collect deliveries.

You could 'improve on your instore experience' by not losing my package!

Been going to the Spar shop for years the only fault I find is when they have special on a product and there is card with offer price
you can get once at that price but if come back to buy more they have taken the card off and it is back to the normal price.

Also there Hot food Sausage baps very nice but the bacon is so dry even if you collect first thing the bacon is not crispy it looks pale and rubbery plus your paying £1.99 roll and that is why I only
go for the Sausage baps.

Also sweet section is hit and miss sometimes they have good section of bagged sweet. there is hardly ever any boiled sweets.

Very unhelpful staff. I went there to collect a parcel and they couldn’t listen to what I was asking, the only thing they were saying is that the locker was outside for collection. After one hour outside on the cold and many phone calls they said the parcel was with them. Another customer was on the same situation but she ended up going home.

This is small shop close to my house is Cambridge. Is good enough if you forgot something and don't want to go to any of the other shops that are further.

Actually during first lockdown this fellas and their Costa Coffee Machine saved my life!!
