A tiny, claustrophobic shop with little product choice. The staff are always restocking shelves during peak evening hours when the shop is extremely busy and the check out queue is often the whole length of the shop. This shop is conveniently located opposite the station, but is not well managed and I have started going to Budgen's which have more choice and short queues.

There is seemingly never any salad on display, but if you ask, someone will go and get it from the back for you. Why would the shelves not just be restocked properly? Also, there are never any bags at the self-checkout machines, which means that you have to ask the one person on the other till to give you a bag, which (s)he invariably does with the utmost suspicion (and which contributes to the long queues that are frequently to be found). Do you think your customers are going to steal your plastic bags?! More attention to customer service is definitely needed at this branch…

Well and truly short changed today. Self service till broke down mid transaction and only totalled some of the money (coins) I put in. I therefore had to either leave the produce I'd paid for and take the coins they managed to retrieve (about half what I'd paid in), or pay what they said was the balance to get my produce.

The nicest staff around!! I dropped and lost one of my AirPods under the aisle and the staff went out of their way and spend a good amount of time to help me look for them. So so appreciative - thanks to Julian, and the other man I didn't get the name of.

I was asked for ID to purchase matches yesterday. The legal age limit for matches is 16. I'm over 35 and a regular customer in this store. Would the same cashier have asked me for ID had I been buying the lottery? I doubt it. How ridiculously overzealous.
That aside, most of the staff are reasonable though would agree with comments that they always seem to be refilling and blocking the aisles during peak times and fresh produce is frequently empty.

Unfortunately there are a shortage of most stock, however the staff have always been friendly. They seem really busy most of the time stocking the shelves, serving customers and cleaning the shop floors. Can't ask for much more really.

Great shop and the staff there are really hard working due to the amount of deliveries each day. There should be a proper security guard on the door because the store is constantly being robbed and this must put a lot of strain on the staff and they never ever answer the phone .
