Been going to the Co Op for years now, like the atmosphere, and the money off at the end, if you are a Member, always a nice surprise! Prices are reasonable too. Staff approachable and friendly. Like their bedding plants and fresh produce, and there’s always newspapers too so the person earlier who said they didn’t sell them is completely wrong. Keep up the good work. You all work very hard.

This could be a great local shop, but shelves are almost always empty. Out of 7 days, shelves are empty around 4 days of the week. What's the point of opening up a local shop if you can't manage inventory?

Always low on stock, not enough staff and now no shopping baskets. When I asked how I was meant to shop, the staff member shrugged and offered me a bag. No explanation, no help. I'm disabled which makes it even more difficult. It could be so much better. I like the Co-op, please make it work!

I don't like to say bad thing about any business, but... On entering there was literally no baskets.. Not at the entrance, nor anywhere in the store! I struggled to the checkout with my purchases, and asked about baskets!??? The manager has stopped the use of baskets as they keep being stolen.. As she pointed to a stack behind the counter at the kiosk. So I asked. The reply dumbfounded me, the manager says no baskets. (I had 3x2 litre bottles and 2 large packets of tp I'm a little middle aged woman) the assistant could see I was struggling but insisted the manager said no and no it was. I asked where the manager was, oh he is busy out the back..
So my suggestion take your own basket if you need to shop here! My suggestion to the co-op not every customer that walks through the door is out to steal baskets, and maybe if the security was doing its job properly.. If thieves can steal something the size of a baskets from right under their noses......

I think they have a lot of problems with theft here, most of the staff who are nice are just doing their best to get through the day. Stock is a big issue, shelves are often empty, no baskets, sometimes only 2 people trying to do everything, seems crazy as the demand locally is high.

This could be a great shop, if it kept its shelves better stocked (they don't have the right things there and what they do have is always empty). Maybe do a survey of your customers and see what would work for them. Also the staff are nice individuals, but could do with some customer service training.
So much potential here, just needs some better management.

Really bad experience here. Went in to drop off a parcel as it’s listed on the MyHermes website as a drop off point. Spoke to the manager who was just rude and dismissive. If you no longer take Hermes parcels take your details off their website, it’s mid-leading and communicate with customers in a more respectful manner.
